Faith Not Doubt

Any doubt that we’re experiencing, we set up. We programmed it perfectly. It is perfectly designed exactly for us. You see, somebody else’s doubt would be questionable for us. The doubt that you create is perfectly ordered, perfectly designed for you – to stop you in your tracks. When we stand here today declaring, “I dispel all doubt” – you’re not dispelling doubt throughout the world. The first thing you’re doing is dispelling the doubt you put in place; those puzzle-pieces that you put together to form doubt in your mind and in your world; in your life experience. You are now taking that puzzle apart. You’re making those pieces disappear. “I dispel all doubt” means “I’m disappearing all that limiting stuff.” – Rev. Andriette

Wow! What powerful teaching and learning we are up to at Heart and Soul Center of Light! I am grateful for this idea of dispelling doubt and thereby regaining traction in our lives. When I stop and think about the origins of doubtful ideas in my own life, I can see where I have been a rather masterful architect, designing the most elaborate constructions to house my various ideas of doubt. I have found for myself that doubt cannot exist without a sheltering consciousness to protect it.

Every fragment of doubt requires its own room in the sprawling mansion of consciousness. As we continue to manufacture and store ideas of doubt, we likewise need to continually add rooms (and ultimately whole wings to our mansion). The problem is, sooner or later we lose track of where all of these little pieces of our doubt are hiding. We lose track of the all rooms we’ve built in our own house! Then later, as we walk through seldom explored corridors of the mansion opening doors, we encounter these festering ideas of doubt seemingly for the first time and wonder, “Where in the world did this come from, and how did it get in here?” As fascinating as these questions may be, the real question is how to get rid of the doubt and even the sheltering rooms that house them.

As Rev. Andriette has offered, dispelling the doubt “disappears” the limiting idea that stops us in our tracks. Let me come right to the point on this: Affirmations dispel doubt; prayer dispels doubt; meditation dispels doubt. Through our steadfast practice of these faith-building techniques, we not only dispel doubt — we keep it from growing back like resurgent dust bunnies in the hidden rooms of our consciousness. And here’s the miracle part: Once we’ve been successful in continuously dispelling our doubt, the rooms that once housed them in our mansion of consciousness mysteriously melt away. And why not? Those rooms no longer have a purpose. I call this metaphysical deconstruction.

I have to say, this teaching as me totally jazzed because I can see where dispelling doubt as a faith practice is essential to the manifestation of good in every facet of my life. I know the lesson will connect beautifully with our Heart and Soul Center of Light 2013 Summer School experience that begins on Wednesday, July 17. For 7 weeks running, we’ll be doing a deep dive into “The Summer of our Abundance”. (I definitely want the rooms in my mansion clean for that one!) Let’s start chatting it up here on the blog and also telling everyone we know about the life-changing summer we have in store. This news is too good to not share!

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more
in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
