This or Something Better

“This or something better is waiting for you.” -Karen Drucker
There have been many times in my life when I felt I had to keep moving to make progress. As if life was a game of musical chairs, I would constantly strive for and run—driven by some some inner overseer—to the better paying job, bigger home, safer school or perfect relationship. I was always worried I would miss my chance and lose another opportunity. So often, I was reacting to worldly conditions gleaned through my five senses.
While there is nothing wrong with making plans and actively pursuing dreams, much can also be accomplished by slowing down and focusing on the mental and spiritual realm. As we do when we plant a seed in the ground in fall, anticipating its bloom in early spring, we can plant and nourish our life affirming thoughts, vision and feelings into Universal Mind and allow them to gestate. We can sit in the knowing that the Law will manifest them in form, much like the seed unfolds into a plant. We can allow Spirit or Universal Mind to guide us to divine right action for our highest good.
Worry, struggle, chaos are not good for your health. You don’t always have to keep moving to make progress. Try sitting, breathing and dwelling in the stillness. Slow down and know that the power and Presence within you is your connection to infinite knowledge and infinite possibilities. Give thanks for this truth and allow yourself to rest in faith that “This or something better is waiting for you”.
Affirmation: God in me, as me, knows what to do and does it.
